INXS have completed their reality TV show search for a new front man in the form of 31 year old Canadian J.D. Fortune.
Fortune, who was sleeping rough in a car park before entering the Rock Star: INXS show, will now record an album and tour the world with the Australian band.
Fortune told reporters after the competition: “It’s an understatement to say this is a dream come true. Growing up, INXS were a huge musical influence on me. I’d listen to their songs and wonder what it would be like to be in this band.”
Despite having several front men fill in INXS have yet to record another studio album since Michael Hutchence’s death.
