Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil tore a calf muscle while onstage in Atlanta last Friday (September 16).
The raucous rockers were five songs into their set at the Phillips Arena when Neil went down injured, forcing the band to cut the gig short.
Media speculation said at the time that Neil had broken his leg, but doctors confirmed over the weekend that it is a torn calf muscle.
However, despite the tear, the band have vowed not to cancel any of their shows and went ahead with a concert in Memphis last night (September 18).
Speaking of the injury, Neil said: “I just felt something snap in my leg, I just couldn’t go on.”
Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, added: "He will be able to perform, but can't really jump around until it heals. Luckily, we have a few days off here and there for him to recover."
The band are hoping to return to Atlanta on a future date to complete the aborted concert.
