Sampling Merchant Four Tet will be releasing a new single ‘As Serious As Your Life’ on 20th October through Domino records. Preceding this release Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) has just commenced a UK tour with the Animal Collective and will be venturing to The Magnet in Liverpool on 13th October.
Meanwhile his first Radio 1 session for John Peel will be broadcast on 14th October. UK Dates in October: 6th - Portsmouth, Po Na Na, Boom 7th - Cardiff, Club Ifor Bach 8th - Birmingham, Medicine Bar 9th - Brighton, Concorde 2 10th - Nottingham, Rescue Rooms (early show!) 11th - Exeter, The Cavern 13th - Liverpool, The Magnet 14th - Edinburgh, The Venue 15th - Glasgow, The Renfrew Ferry 16th - Newcastle, The Egypt Cottage 17th - London, The End (with Mouse On Mars and Max Tundra). Four Tet will go on to appear with Prefuse 73 in the US later this month.
