Rolling Stones Say 'Sort Out Iraq'!!!

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has expressed his shock by Tony Blair’s attitude towards Iraq.

Jagger doubts the band will ever perform in Baghdad and made some serious comments regarding the current state of the new improved and free Iraq.

Speaking to 'El Pais Semanal' magazine Jagger described how he felt at the time of the Iraq invasion: "I was ambivalent; getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a gift for humanity and I thought that there was a coherent plan to put Iraq back on its feet,"

However, after a memorandum leaked from Downing Street revealed there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq it: "shocked me to know that Blair already knew that the weapons of mass destruction were simply an excuse and that there was nothing planned for the day after."

Now on their 31st world tour, the Rolling Stones have no plans to perform anywhere near Iraq, Jagger told the Rolling Stone: "I doubt that the Stones will ever perform in Baghdad,"

After slagging off George W Bush on their new song ‘Sweet Neo Con’ Jagger addressed the problem in Iraq directly, saying: "If we do not take intelligent steps, a part of Iraq will end up becoming an Islamic republic, a puppet of Tehran,"
