Even more music giants, including U2, Coldplay, Beck, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Pearl Jam will be playing MTV, VH1 and CMT’s disaster-relief special ‘ReAct Now: Music and Relief,’ tonight.
They have been added to a line-up already consisting of Norah Jones, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Kanye West, Green Day, Usher and dozens more.
The massive event will incorporate live and taped performances from studios in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville and live concerts across the US plus testimonials from celebs reflecting on Hurricane Katrina.
‘ReAct now: Music and Relief’ will be commercial-free on all MTV networks, will be broadcast on-line and on MTV channels all over the globe.
