Isle Of Wight's Bestival Opens Its Gates!!!

The best festival on the Isle Of Wight Bestival is gearing up to smash a world record this weekend.

Up to 25,000 festival goers will be descending on the island to attend.

Saturday night will a little different with all festival goers required to wear cowboy and Indian costumes in a bid to smash the world record for biggest fancy dress party ever.

Bands performing at the weekend long event include Royksopp, Soulwax and the amazing Super Furry Animals.

Also at the festival founded by Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank, will be a sauna, inflatable church and lots of other mad shit.

Spokeswoman Clare Woodcock said: "The Bestival is like all the best bits of all the other festivals rolled into one - it's quite unique.

"There will be lots of quirky things going on but one of the main catchwords is attention to detail, everything looks absolutely beautiful.

"It has been described as all the alternative bits of Glastonbury but without the mud - fingers crossed."
