Cassidy Faces Murder Charges Again

The imprisoned rapper Cassidy is to have murder charges refilled against him.

Prosecutors announced their plans to refile charges against Cassidy despite the charges against him being dropped from first degree to third degree murder last month.

Cassidy has been in prison since he turned himself in on June 17, his case will now go before Common Pleas Court Judge Benjamin Learner, according to MTV a preliminary hearing could take place as early as next week.

All charges against the rapper stem from a shooting incident in April alleged to have taken place outside his Philadelphia home.

It is alleged that Cassidy and two others fired shots and three unarmed men, leaving one dead.
