Alfie In Lucky Escape After Coach Crash

Alfie have had a lucky escape after their tour bus was involved in a serious accident during a journey between gigs.

The band were travelling from Nottingham to Glasgow at the weekend when they hit a car that had been involved in an earlier accident and had been abandoned with no lights on in the middle of the road.

According to a statement on the bands website: β€œThe band were all asleep in their bunks and were clearly awoken as a result of this incident. Fortunately the driver managed to control the coach and bring it to a standstill without any major injuries being sustained.”

The coach however was written off and the driver was taken to hospital suffering from back pains while the band nursed sore necks and minor whiplash.

Alfie have managed to carry on with their UK tour without any further incident and no dates have been affected.
