More about: Daft Punk
Durex have quashed news of Daft Punk 'Get Lucky' branded condoms, after an image of the suspected product was uploaded to the American DJ and producer Diplo's Facebook.
It was said that Durex were releasing the condoms named after the French duo's hit single, 'Get Lucky' - featuring the albums artwork. As part of the publicity campaign, Durex were supposedly sending free packs to well known DJ's, with news of releasing them for wholesale in mainland Europe and the UK. Diplo tweeted pictures of the condoms featuring the images of the dance duo.
However, a Durex spokesman has since told MTV: "We are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following their hit single 'Get Lucky'. There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the US or any other markets and Durex is not posting free packs to the world's top DJs as suggested."
They continued: "However, we do hope that by using Durex condoms, music-lovers will continue to make sweet music together and have great sex!"

It's still unclear as to how Diplo got his hands on the condoms, it's unlikely the DJ is punking us. As MTV points out, Sony Music Belgium posted on Instagram about handing out the condoms at a festival last week. So although they're not official Durex products, they're probably not non-existent.
