Britney Spears has slammed media speculation that she will retire from the music industry after the birth of her baby.
In fact, Britney says that she will be releasing a new album by 2007 at the latest.
As breakingnews reports, she said: "I'm just in the studio playing now, but (a new album) will probably be a year, a year and a half away."
Britney is expecting her first baby to husband Kevin Federline later this month.
