Florence Welch has performed a stripped-back cover of THE pop hit of the summer, Icona Pop's 'I Love It'. Check it out below.
The singer teams up with super-producer Dev Hynes for the cover, which was performed live this week at a benefit gig for Human Rights Campaign. Florence gives a powerful performance of the simple, power-packed original, injecting a tinge of melancholy into the uplfiting summer anthem.
'I Love It' was originally slated for UK release in late 2012, but is now released in early July, 2013. The song has become a word of mouth smash hit over the past six months, boosted by a spot on US TV show Girls. The track is currently Top Ten in America, and Icona Pop (Swedish duo Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo).

'I Love It' was this week promoted to the Radio One A-list and a shoddy knock-off of the track has charted in this week's midweek chart - suggesting a massive UK hit when the original goes on sale on 4 July 2013.
