Keane seem to have impressed U2 so much during their European support slots that the Irish supergroup have invited them on tour again.
The insipid trio will support U2 on seven dates of the second bout of the ‘Vertigo’ tour at shows in Boston, Massachusetts and New York this October.
Also confirmed to support Bono and the boys are Dashboard Confessional. Beck, Pearl Jam, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon and John Mayer are amongst the acts who have already supported U2 this year.
The second North American leg of the Vertigo tour kicks off in Canada in September.
