GanjaLegendary American singer Art Garfunkel has been charged with marijuana possession after Police reportedly found a joint in the ashtray of his car on Sunday night.
Garfunkel was stopped by police in upstate New York after failing to acknowledge a stop sign. Local newspaper The Daily Freeman Of Kingston reports that there was a strong odour of cannabis surrounding his vehicle when officers approached.
He was issued with a ticket and will now appear in Woodstock Town Court on September 22 reports Breakingnew.ie. Garfunkel was last charged with marijuana possession in January 2004 when he was ordered to pay a $200 (£164) fine.
