Kanye West is suing a Chicago DJ for allegedly trying to flog ten tracks the rapper made in his teens.
The civil lawsuit was filed this week and claims Eric ‘E-Smooth’ Miller tried to circulate the tracks at the start of this year and offered distributors fake signed papers by West.
The much-lauded Grammy award winner is seeking $1.3million in damages from Miller. West also wants him to stop using his name in connection with the recordings.
As the BBC reports, the suit states Miller falsely claimed he had a contract to distribute the music.
Tracks disputed in the suit include ‘Ho!!!’ and ‘Stop Frontin.’ West released his new album ‘Late Registration’ this week.
