Oasis chief Noel Gallagher has said that the worst aspect of running his own record label is that so many of the bands want to be Oasis.
The monobrowed Mancunian launched Big Brother Records in 2000 and in an interview with music industry rag Billboard admits that the experience isn't always enjoyable.
According to Noel: "Everyone wants to be the next Oasis, and that doesn't mean slogging it out around the toilet gigs.
"It's all about advances these days, and most managers of these new bands are idiots. We signed to Creation for 50 grand, and we didn't get any money for about three years."
Young people today eh Noel? It was never like that with Northern Uproar.
