The princely chinned ‘Fill me in’ star has flown out to Egypt today, at the personal invitation of the country’s president Hosni Mubarek, to headline the concert in memory of the victims killed by last month’s terrorist attack.
The concert, which predominately features Egyptian artists, takes place in the holiday resort tomorrow.
Craig is quoted on Ireland on-line as saying: “It’s an incredible honour to be performing at this concert.”
“The show has an unbelievable global significance. It’s not so much about who’s performing but rather about a wide mix of cultures joining together and proving that solidarity and peace is the way to combat the evil intentions of terrorism.”
