24 year old Singer/songwriter Matthew Jay has died after falling from a window in his hometown of Nottingham.
The details of his death are not known although a statement released by his family says that it was thought that no one was with him when he fell from the 7th floor. His family said: “Matthew lived and died for his music. His family loved him dearly, admired him greatly."
Matthew, who grew up in South Wales had toured the UK with many of the biggest indie bands like Starsailor and the Stereophonics and was making his name as the next Badly Drawn Boy.
