Lauryn Hill is reuniting with John Legend to record duets for their individual solo albums. They first collaborated on the track ‘Everything Is Everything’ from Hill’s debut solo album ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill’ in 1998 which helped launch Legend’s music career.
According to the Daily Star they stated working together again after Legend appeared in a Gap advert with young soul singer Joss Stone.
A ‘source’ told the tabloid: "Lauryn got in touch with John and congratulated him on his Gap advert with Joss Stone. They chatted for a bit then she presented the idea of them working together again - which he jumped at.
"Lauryn and John have done a song for her next album and will do one for his follow-up to ‘Get Lifted’.
“Neither track is finished yet. They only got down to business last week."
The duets will appear on Legend’s new solo album and Hill’s new album ‘Kunami Phase’.
