A woman has been hospitalized with broken bones after she fell 35 to 40 feet from the rafters of Boston’s Fenway Park during The Rolling Stones opening world tour date.
The unamed 20 year old broke both her ankles and a wrist after she climbed into the rafters of the stadium during the concert. She was taken to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is in a stable condition.
A witness told The Boston Herald: "I don't know how she got up there but I kept yelling for her (to), 'Go back. Go back’.” Another witness added: "She sat for at least three songs, just dangling there. She was hanging onto the rafters, sitting on a beam. She just fell backwards."
Fire-fighters were sent to the scene to help her down but arrived too late and she fell before they got there.
