The legendary Rolling Stones have kicked off their world tour in Boston’s Fenway Park.
The aging rockers performed in front of a massive crowd of 36,000 while fireworks shot out from the stage.
The Stones opened the show with classic ‘Start It Up’, and Mick Jagger complimented the crowd on their city: "It's great to be back here in Boston."
According to the BBC, Jagger also made reference to the fact that California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the audience by saying: "When we drove up he was out front, selling T-shirts and a few tickets."
Other tracks they played included ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Honky Tonk Woman’ and ‘Sympathy for the Devil’. They also played tracks from their forthcoming new album including ‘Oh No! Not You Again’ and ‘Rough Justice’.
The Rolling Stones will travel all over the States, South America, the Far East and Europe on their current tour.
The Rolling Stones new album 'A Bigger Bang' is out on September 5.
