Police have so far arrested 62 people at the site of the V Festival at Weston Park in Staffordshire. Drugs were seized and 104 people were cautioned for various offences.
Thirty-two arrests were made on Friday and a further 30 people were detained on Saturday and Sunday. Thirty of the arrests were drug related, 29 were on suspicion of theft, while one person was detained on suspicion of robbery and two for violent behaviour.
Around 75,000 people are attending the two-day event at Weston Park, whose headliners include Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters and Oasis.
Police had warned festival-goers they would be using hi-tech face-recognition equipment to try to identify known criminals, with a mobile drug-testing lab set up on-site. Anyone found with drugs will have DNA and fingerprints taken once they have been arrested.
The organisers of the festival have emphasised that most of the people attending are law abiding and are there only to enjoy the music.
