The Zutons, The Stands and some as yet unconfirmed acts are playing a charity gig tonight at the Liverpool Academy in aid of the Anthony Walker Memorial Fund.
Doors open at 7pm, tickets are a tenner and are available from Ticketmaster and Ticketline.
Ever the philanthropists, The Zutons are also contributing a track to the forthcoming War Child album, designed to raise money for children affected by the Iraq war.
The album, titled: 'Help: A Day In The Life' will feature Radiohead, Gorillaz, Razorlight, Manic Street preachers, Bloc Party, Hard-Fi, The Coral, Elbow, Mylo and Maximo Park – alongside The Zutons.
In the words of Dave McCabe and his crew: “These are both for a worthwhile cause so dig deep you filthy tramps.”
