Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, has learned the 'Single Ladies' dance - after watching a Chipmunks movie.

The 12 month old watched a scene from Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, in which three of the characters perform the 'Single Ladies' dance routine from Beyonce's music video.

Speaking before the Super Bowl, Beyonce told The Sun, "There are a lot of kids now who know the song was on the Chipmunks series.

"All of the kids are like, 'Oh, that's the Chipmunk song!' Which is so interesting."

She added, "My daughter actually does the hand movement and sings, 'Uh oh.'"

Beyonce went on to speak about the fact that Blue Ivy has just learned to talk, and how much she is enjoying motherhood.

"When I wake up in the morning, the best thing in the world is seeing her face," the singer continued.

"She's starting to talk. It's just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new."
