
Super Furry Animals have laughed off the way journalists label them as ‘The Beach Boys on acid.’
Frontman Gruff finds the Beach Boys comparison baffling because Brian Wilson and co. were notoriously under the influence of the hallucinogenic during the sixties.
Gruff said: "We've been called The Beach Boys on acid, but The Beach Boys were on acid!"
The Welsh psychedelic rockers’ new single 'Lazerbeam' came out yesterday (August 15), with the fantastic new album ‘Love Kraft’ following next week.
