Pete Townshend has announced that The Who will be embarking on a massive tour in 2006.The band recently abandoned a series of gigs as their drummer was unavailable; however, drummer Zak Starkey son of Ringo Starr will be joining him and Roger Daltrey in February to begin rehearsals.
Speaking on his official website Townshend said: "I had a good lunch with Roger to discuss possible work in the coming months. We have agreed to reconvene next February."
