The man responsible for leaking intimate photos of Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis to celebrity websites has been sentenced to ten years in prison.
Christopher Chaney, 35, was responsible for a leak of nude photos of Avengers actress Johansson which she had reportedly taken for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds. Photos of Christina Aguilera were also leaked after Chaney reportedly accessed The Voice judge's account, posed as her stylist and requested underwear shots from the singer.
Chaney pleaded guilty to the charges, which were said to include the personal details of over 50 celebrities as well as unlawfully tapping phones and unauthorised access to a computer.
"I don't know what else to say other than I'm sorry. I could be sentenced to never use a computer again and I wouldn't care," said Chaney in court, reports Associated Press.
"It's hard to fathom the mindset of a person who would accomplish all of this," judge S James Otero is reported as saying in court. "These types of crimes are as pernicious and serious as physical stalking."

Chaney supplied a number of US websites with photos illegally obtained from stars' computers, plus obtained documents including business contracts, scripts and more. He was arrested in 2011 as part of an operation dubbed 'Operation Hackerazzi'.
