Former Bond girl Gemma Arterton reveals her musical side in new movie 'Song For Marion', but has dashed suggestions that she would ever launch a pop career.

The British actress appears as a choir master in her new movie, whose role includes coaching an elderly choir to perform unusual songs, including Salt n' Pepa's No.1 hit 'Let's Talk About Sex'.

However, despite showing her singing skills on the big screen, Arterton claims she would never consider singing professionally - unless in a stage musical.

"I would never launch a pop career... I do love singing... musicals are maybe on the horizon," the actress tells ITN on the red carpet for the Song For Marion.

Arterton will next be seen in a big screen adaptation of fairy tale Hansel & Gretel - albeit with a modern cinema twist. The new version of the classic story sees Arterton (as Gretel) team up with brother Hansel (played by Avengers actor Jeremy Renner) to battle a coven of witches - with huge machine guns - in medieval times.
