The Rolling Stones have revealed the first new material from their upcoming hits collection GRRR! Listen to new track 'Doom & Gloom' below.
The song was premiered on by Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2 at 8.15am. Breakfast Show this morning (Oct 11).
The heavy sounding garage-blues track is set to feature on the iconic band's upcoming hits collection 'GRRR!', released on November 12th. 'Doom and Gloom' is one of two new songs recorded by the band in Paris with 'One More Shot' still to be revealed.
Tweeting about 'Doom and Gloom' yesterday, Mick Jagger said: "Our new single is released tomorrow. It's called Doom & Gloom, though it's a really raunchy rocker you can dance to & not gloomy at all!"
Adding: "It was fun & quick to record, & Jeff Bhaskar has done a great mix"
Meanwhile, band saxophonist Bobby Keys has revealed the band will perform a pair of shows in London before the end of 2012.
Speaking to Billboard, Keys says The Rolling Stones were: "Gonna do some more concerts, starting in November with two in England and then a couple here in the States, then there's a few added concerts after that."
"Keith told me a couple months ago there was something in the wind and just be ready to go. I'm waiting for them to send me the plane ticket and the information, and then I'll go."
British website Record Of The Day has reportedly named the dates as 25 and 29 November.
