Lady Gaga was booed by angry, disappointed fans at the London launch when the 'Born This Way' star turned up late to the Harrods event - and then ignored fans waiting to meet their pop idol.
The US superstar was at London's Harrods store for the UK launch of her first fragrance Fame, which was billed as an event for fans to mingle with the star. However, on arrival she refused to walk the 'black carpet' which had been laid out for the singer, dashing inside the store before many fans had even caught site of their pop idol.
Fan Luke Reader spoke to The Telegraph odf his disappointment, saying: "She couldn't even spend five minutes talking and having some pictures taken. It's not on."
Gaga herself appeared in high spirits ahead of the event, telling fans on Twitter: "So excited, going to be at @Harrods in an hour! Just drove though London, so beautiful seeing all the Sunday strollers in love..."
Fans were further angered at Gaga's actions after she arrived at the London store over an hour late. She was set to arrive at 7:30pm but didn't show up until 8:45pm.
