Mad Men actor Jon Hamm has turned in a hilarious performance for the new video from Aimee Mann. Watch the video on Gigwise now.

In the video, Hamm plays a sleazy director called Tom Scharpling who has tricked Mann into recreating the video for her former band 'Til Tuesday's hit 'Voices Carry'.

Starting with an interview segment, Mann describes in the video how she thought Scharpling was 'so incompetent she was being pranked'.

This, of course, is not Hamm's first foray into comedy with the actor famed for his role as Mad Men's Don Draper making numerous appearances on sitcom 30 Rock as well as a star role in box office smash Bridesmaids.

The Mad Men cast were also the subject of a great supercut earlier this year, putting their scenes to the music of Rick Astley.
