One Direction have won the right to keep their name after a legal challenge against a US boyband who were also named One Direction.
The other One Direction, a punk band from America, claimed that they had the name before the UK boyband were created on the X Factor in 2010. They sought $1m in compensation as well as a future cut of the group's earnings.
However, as you may expect from a Simon Cowell backed band, Harry Styles and co. won the legal battle and the US punk band will now be called Unchartered Shores.
One Direction recently revealed details of their new album, 'Take Me Home', as well as its strange album artwork.
