Creamfields, the dance festival called off after torrential rain flooded the site and creating a health and safety risk, has revealed its plan to refund ticket holders.
As the two day event was cancelled on the Sunday (Day 2) there will be a 50% refund available for weekend ticket holders and a full refund for those with Sunday tickets only.
The event was due to draw performances from superstar DJs including Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris.
Posting a statement online, Creamfields organisers wrote: "Firstly we'd like to apologise for the delay in getting these details to you, we do understand your frustration however, there are several parties involved and it's taken a little longer than anticipated to pull all this information together, rest assured this has been a top priority for us.
"For all those people who purchased with a debit or credit card, your refund will automatically be returned to the same card the transaction came from – please allow 28 days for all refunds to be issued and we request that you keep hold of your proof of purchase until you have received your refund."
