It's far to say that The Vaccines stepped up a rung or two on the ladder of indie rock fame this past weekend when they took to the Main Stage at Reading Festival. You could even say they 'came of age' but that would just be cheesy.
We caught up with the band backstage to find out how they felt about their performance at the festival as well as getting the low down on just how the managed to wangle the huge poster campaign around the site all weekend.
Guitarist Freddie Cowan also filled us in on his memories of Reading Festival history and just why he has to pinch himself every day he's in his band.
