Billy Corgan threw a strop and then stormed off stage at a gig in Melbourne after fans repeatedly shouted for him to play Smashing Pumpkins songs.
Corgan, who recently said he was ready to reform the now defunct Pumpkins, was playing the show when on member of the audience shouted “play some Pumpkins”, Corgan reportedly answered back saying: "Can I live my life for today?"
Later in the set another fan shouted “we want rock” reports Launch, to which an increasingly angry Corgan suggested that the man ask for his money back.
Then towards the end of the show more people requested Smashing Pumpkins songs and a now irate Corgan was heard to say “**** this” and then proceeded to walk off stage.
