Rihanna flew five of her fans out to Barbados – and even cooked them dinner.
The pop star chose five fans to treat in order to say thank you to them for contributing to her success. The five she chose have spent money following her all over the world, so this was Rihanna’s way of giving back.
She put them up in the Sandy Lane hotel and they visited her house for a meal.
A source told The Sun: “She wanted to show them how grateful she was. She figured the best thank you was to cook them tea in her hometown.”
Rihanna was recently dropped
by Nivea for being too sexy, as the company decided her raunchy image was at odds with the family brand they wanted to portray. The star is currently recording a new album, and is working with producers Burns and Labrinth
on the follow up to Talk That Talk.
Justin Young from The Vaccines recently expressed interest in writing for the star, telling Gigwise:
"I'd definitely like to write to other artists," he said. "It's hard because I get so many melodies and don't know what to do with them, but i've never taken the emotional element out of songwriting.
"If I was proud of the song and didn't want it, i'd certainly be happy for someone else to sing it."
When asked which pop artists he'd like to hear record his tracks, he named two of the biggest stars on the planet, saying: "I think Rihanna gets a lot of really good songs. Lady Gaga gets good songs as well."
