After the band's surprise split, LCD Soundsystem announced that they would film a documentary about the group, centred around their last ever gig at Madison Square Garden. The film had a one-night showing at various cinemas around the U.S., but it has now been announced that the feature will be released on DVD and Blu Ray.
Consequence of Sound have reported that 'Shut Up and Play the Hits' will be released on October 9th.
It will come as a three disc package featuring the documentary and footage of the final concert in its entirity.
