Justin Timberlake's eagerly anticipated return to the music scene will have to wait a while longer after reports he is recording a new solo album were denied by those close to the star yesterday.
It was reported by Digital Spy that Timberlake was back in the studio working on the follow up to 2006's 'FutureSex/ LoveSounds'.
Producer Jim Beanz told the website how, "When I get back to the States I'm going to be helping out on Shock Value 3 with Timbaland and the Justin Timberlake project."
Adding: "It's still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks. While I've been over here in the UK they've been working, so by the time I get back they'll have a whole load of ideas and I'm going to have to catch up!"
However, Timberlake's publicist told Billboard that there is no new solo album and that the 'Cry Me A River' star is merely contributing one track to Timbaland's latest solo album.
To underline how uncommitted to music Timberlake currently is, it was added that the star is in Puerto Rico making a film with Ben Affleck.
