A host of Rn’B, Pop and Hip Hop stars have teamed together to record a tribute album to the legendary Sly & the Family Stone.
Janet Jackson, Moby, The Roots, Maroon 5, Outkast’s Big Boi and Blacked Eyed Peas’ Will I Am have all recorded songs for the album ‘Different Strokes by Different Folks’ which is set for release this September.
The record will also see Joss Stone, Van Hunt and John Legend team up for a version of ‘Family Affair’ reports Billboard. The album has apparently been approved by Sly Stone who has rarely been seen in public for the last decade.
