The highest new entry in the singles chart was Lee Ryan with ‘Army of Lovers’ while Paul ‘The Modfather’ Weller reached number 6 with ‘From The Floorboards Up’.

Mercury Music Prize nominated Maximo Park and Bloc Party entered the top twenty with ‘Going Missing’ and ‘The Pioneers’ respectively.

The top ten singles are as follows:

3 Lee Ryan - Army Of Lovers
4 Tupac feat Elton John - Ghetto Gospel
    5 Daddy Yankee - Gasolina
6 Paul Weller - From The Floorboards Up
7 Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone
