Fuck Buttons, who had two of their songs included on the playlist for the Olympic Games opening ceremony, have said they knew about it for weeks but we're too afraid to say anything.

Speaking exclusively to Gigwise, Andrew Hung of the Bristol duo said that he was approached by Olympic music supervisors Underworld just two weeks ago. Revealing he kept quiet for fear of 'jinxing' things, Hung says:

"I didn’t tell anyone until the day of the ceremony because, basically, I didn’t believe it. I just didn’t know it was going to happen until it happened. I think I was afraid to jinx it. When it did happen though it was incredible."

Describing the whole night as 'mad bonkers', Hung adds: "They really used the history of Britain well and I mean, who would think they would play ‘Firestarter’ by The Prodigy on that scale? It was mad bonkers."
