Katherine Jackson has vowed to fight a court's decision to grant custody of Michael Jackson's three children to their cousin, Tito Jackson JR and has said she is 'devastated' at the decision.
The children will be cared for by their cousin following concerns over their grandmother and previous guardian, Katherine Jackson. Last weekend, Katherine was reported missing by Paris Jackson in a Twitter update. Katherine was later found safe and well, photographed in the middle of a game of Uno, with family members in Arizona.
Katherine Jackson has now vowed to return to Los Angeles to fight the decision. "I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children - my grandchildren - have been taken away from me," said Jackson. "I'm coming home to see about that,"
Tito Jackson JR was awarded temporary custody of the children at a court hearing in LA yesterday (24 July, 2012) after Katherine's lawyer told the court that he had "reason to believe that Mrs. Jackson has been held against her will."
The judge also declared that Paris, Prince and Blanket were to remain in California, saying they were not to be taken from the state 'by any person'.
The Jackson family have made headline news this week, with Janet Jackson yesterday accused of slapping Paris Jackson and calling her a 'spoiled b****' during a failed intervention.
