Mitch Winehouse has revealed how difficult he found working on a new book about daughter Amy, saying he suffered a breakdown while editing it.

Today, July 23rd, marks the one year anniversary of Amy's tragic death and her Father, Mitch has written a book titled 'Amy, My Daughter' to raise funds for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Speaking to the BBC about his book, Mitch said: "When I had to read it back for edits and mistakes I had a mini breakdown. I found it far worse reading it back."

Asked what kept him going during the dark times of the past twelve months, Mitch stated:"This is the power of positivity. Look at what we've achieved in less than a year," he said.

"Even within the space of nine months since we created the foundation, Amy's waving her magic wand up in heaven and we're getting stuff done."

Mitch Winehouse has recently spoken about the possibility of releasing two posthumous albums of Amy's material as well as looking into the same hologram technology that saw Tupac Shakur appear at Coachella this year.
