Jessie J has cancelled a show at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland tonight (21 July, 2012) after a mystery illness forced the singer to take a break from performing.
The 'Price Tag' star's show has been rescheduled for 25 August after an 'unexpected illness' left the singer unable to perform. Doctors have ordered the singer to rest after diagnosing her with a virus.
"Doctors have advised that rest is crucial for me to fully recover from the virus, so I wont be able to perform at tomorrow's gig at Alnwick Castle," Jessie told fans on Twitter. "The show has been moved to Saturday 25th August. Sorry to all my fans :)
An official statement from the show's promoters, KAL Music Limited, states: "On behalf of KAL Music Limited we would like to extend an apology to all concert ticket holders for any inconvenience caused. We are hugely disappointed to have to postpone Saturday's performance but are pleased to have already confirmed an alternative date for the concert to go ahead.
"We hope that all ticket holders will be able to attend what is sure to be an incredible event. We wish Jessie J a speedy recovery."
