The Maccabees to make 3D video using Xbox technology

The Maccabees have revealed plans to record a 3D music video using the Kinect technology assosciated with the Xbox gaming console.

The 'Given To The Wild' band will recorded playing a three song set by a rig of ten Kinect cameras later this month with the resulting footage being transformed into a short film titled 'The Maccabees (In The Dark)'.

Up to 50 fans can gain access to the video shoot, which is happening in Bow, East London and will be helmed bu directors Jamie Roberts and Will Hanke.

London band Echo Lake used a similar method on their video for 'Young Silence', check that out below.
