Blur have confirmed that they will perform at the famous Maida Vale studios later this month.

The band, who have reformed to play a huge show in London's Hyde Park this August, will be interviewed and play live at Maida Vale for both Radio 2 and 6Music.

Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree will be at Maida Vale on 31 July, and are expected to play their classic hits as well as new single 'Under The Westway'.

6 Music presenter Steve Lamacq will chat to the band from 4pm with an hour-long concert then broadcast on Radio 2 from 8pm.

Blur fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to see the band perform live at Maida Vale.

Jeff Smith, head of music at Radio 2 and 6 Music, said: "This year marks a huge milestone for Blur as a band. The contribution they have made to the history of British music cannot be underestimated."

Yesterday saw producer William Orbit put the original version of 'Under The Westway' that he recorded online.
