Organisers of Latitude Festival claim the festival is under no threat from the weekend's forecasted downpours, and that Henham Park comfortably cope with predicted rainfall.
As forecasters predict heavy rain across the three-day event, Festival Republic organiser Melvin Benn has revealed that the site is perfectly suited to cope with a downpour.
"I don't need a plan B. [Henham Park] is on a sandy base and drains well," says Melvin Benn to the BBC. "If there is difficulty, I've got tractors standing by, trackways and temporary fencing."
Rain is exepcted to turn the festival into a mud bath, depite Twitter assurances this week that the festival will remain dry. Forecasts have eased over the week, with torrential rain and thunder initially expected. A mixture of rain and sunny spells are predicted for the weekend.
