Lianne La Havas described singer Paloma Faith as being "fabulous all the time" and credits the star with making her a stronger person.
La Havas previously sang backing vocals for Faith before recording her own album, and feels that she owes a lot to the quirky singer.
When speaking to the Daily Star, La Havas said: “I'm going to present her with a personal vinyl copy of my album.
“She's just really smart, so generally being around her felt like I was learning ways to be a stronger woman.”
She also complimented Faith’s fashion sense, adding: “She always manages to be completely fabulous all the time while being super smart, dedicated and hard-working.
“And she taught me to dress for my shape. Heels make everything better.”
La Havas’ debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’ is going head to head against Newton Faulkner’s ‘Write It On Your Skin’ for the number one slot in the Official Albums Charts this Sunday.
