Usher's 11-year-old stepson is said to have been left brain dead after a jet-ski collision on Friday (6 July, 2012), left him hospitalised.
Kyle Glover was struck by the jet-ski while being pulled on an inner tube in a lake in Georgia with a female friend. A 38-year-old man is said to have been riding the vehicle which hit Glover. The youngster was said to have been unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to an Atlanta hospital, according to US reports.
Usher rushed to the hospital where Kyle Glover's family are said to be making a heart-wrenching decision over his contiuned life-support treatment.
The girl with Glover suffered minor injuries, including a broken arm and head wound.
Authorities are investigating in the incident but alcohol is not thought to have played a factor in the crash.
