The film director, 35, is due to appear in Westminster Magistrates' Court next month after being arrested in April. The Daily Mail reports that the original crime was reported to police in January.
Rebecca Mundy, the Crown Prosecution Service lawyer confirmed Traviss' arrest yesterday (June 28) saying: "I have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Reginald Traviss with two counts of rape. The alleged offences took place between December 29, 2011 and January 1, 2012."
Adding: "The decision was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."
Meanwhile, Amy's Father Mitch has published a new book in which he reveals that his daughter wrote her hit 'Rehab' in just three hours.
