Online rumours suggest a new Daft Punk track, titled 'Renoma Street', is due to be released on 21 July, 2012.

French magazine Tsugi named the track in a playlist printed in their magazine. When a fan asked the editor of the magazine for more details on the track, he tweeted '21/7', reports blog Harder Blogger Faster. It has also been suggested that the track will be given away for free by the magazine on a CD in an upcoming issue.

Daft Punk have been working with Chic legend Nile Rogers on their fourth studio album. Rogers revealed in February that the collaboration had come about by accident, saying: "We were having so much fun just in an informal setting that we decided to make it formal. And it’s very formal. It’s gonna be amazing."

In March, producer Paul Williams revealed he was working with the band, and initially suggested a June release for the as-yet-untitled record.

"I have written songs for Daft Punk," he announced during an interview at SXSW festival earlier this year. "This material will appear on their new album, coming maybe June."

More recently, band member Thomas Bangalter produced the soundtrack to a short Lindsay Lohan film, 'First Point'.
